The story of ifoundyou® began in 1989, when founder Charles Pisano lost contact with a dear friend. Years passed, but he never forgot her. Then, in 1998, Charles asked himself a simple question: “If I ever saw her again, what would I say?” The answer came naturally: “I found you.” Those three simple words became the inspiration for ifoundyou®.

Today, ifoundyou® is built around the power of finding one another. One part of our mission is to help singles correspond, meet, date, and perhaps find that special person they may one day call their soulmate. We believe meeting someone shouldn't always depend on an app, an algorithm, or a computer screen. Sometimes all it takes is knowing that someone is single and open to meeting you.

By wearing an ifoundyou® band or T-shirt, you're sending a simple message to the people around you: I'm single. I'm open to meeting someone. Come say hello. It takes away some of the uncertainty and creates an opportunity for two people to smile, introduce themselves, and start a conversation. That conversation might begin in a coffee shop, at the gym, on vacation, walking down the street, or anywhere two people happen to meet.
